This dye worked PERFECTLY for what I needed it for. I used it to dye reed baskets. I just left it in overnight and it was ready the next day. The color is rich and deep, and doesn't bleed on anything.

Had a few black shirts that needed some freshening up, bought this dye to help bring them back to life. The RIT website has some helpful hints for how to dye clothes. I boiled the water like it said and soaked the few items. I did do it in batches as my pot was not that big. Also, just a heads up...

I used it to dye a polyester bikini that was white had gotten stained and it worked great! I'd say turned dark navy blue but still very potent!
