This IS the metal frame version - not plastic. It found the radio signal and set the correct time within an hour of hanging it on the wall. Time set to AZ time with push of a button (disabling DST). I have 2 of these La Crosse clocks that set themselves. Always accurate always working! When we go to daylight savings time, they automatically reset. So cool!
