I use this tea maker everyday...Works great! The color isn't tan, but a pretty sage green...love the color.....I use two family size tea bags and run the water through 3 times....this makes 2 pitchers of tea.....

I got this for the office because we tea drinkers all like it differently. Its quick and simple and no more washing the tea pitcher or left over tea in the fridge from last week. Fresh iced tea every time! I think you could use it to make hot tea also but I don't drink hot beverages.
