After buying single filled thistle sacks at $4-$5 a pop for years only to have chipmunks bite a hole in them and let out all the seed, I finally decided to buy two metal thistle feeders and this seed. Saves me a lot of money and I love that the bigger birds can also access the seed.

I enjoy attracting the small birds to my yard using finch tubes and this bird feed does the trick. food does fall to the ground, but the doves quickly get every last seed.
