Very impressed with the strengh of this ladder. Bought for my personal residence. I have climbed hundreds of attic ladders being an hvac technician and never went up one that didn't budge when climbing it. I'm 190 lbs. The spring is tight so dont let it go up by itself it will slam

Its great if you have a weird opening. We were able to cut wooden stairs at bottom, so they can come down level. Metal staircase would not have allowed that. Good product!

Ladder arrived with damage to the face that shows from below. Box was damaged. Would have preferred to pick it up at the store, but not an option. I preferred to use as is than to go through the hassle of return, particularly b/c I had made plans to install and had help at my house. Wood spli...
