Definitely works with my old tv which only has 1 hdmi port. Adding this enables me to now use my cable and fire stick on my not-so-smart tv and easily switch from cable to other tv apps like Disney plus.

Exactly what I expected. I have a small TV with only 1 HDMI port and I wanted my cable connection and Roku to display in hi def. This does it.

Worked like a champ, easy setup, and auto-switching worked, have 4 games systems hooked up to one HDMI port. I advise getting a power source though.
