My son bought this for his phone and did a water test on it. He put 2 pieces of cardboard in the shape of his phone inside the case. He then submerged it in a cooler of water (about 8" down) for 12 hours and not a drop of water got in.

I am really enjoying my LifeProof case. It not too bulky like other cases. Calls are clear. The only thing I've noticed is it's slightly harder to take a screen shot. But I can live with that.

I purchased one two years ago and it finally had to be replaced. Saved my phone several times. The only complaint I have is the port or flip cover for where the charging cable goes is flimsy. It broke off my other one after a year when I put it into my pocket so it was no longer waterproof.
