We had this for about three days and my husband sat on the closed lid. The hinges create a large gap between the lid and the seat at the back, and there are no bumpers for support, so the hinges broke right out of the "wood" -- which made it easy to see it's just cheap pressed sawdust with a vene...

We purchased this toilet seat on the Walmart web page and picked up at store the next day. We put it on used it for two days and returned to the store. In two days the screws had pulled out from the bottom of the seat then it pretty much fell apart. I would not suggest this to anyone.

It fell apart in one week of purchase the screws just fell out I wish someone would have told me How to return it
