Online this looked like a good starter set for a male friend of the family. But when I picked it up it looked very small and cheap. Not worth it, I returned it spent $5 more and got a set that was twice the size. It look great and feels great also.

I bought the Macy's Brand Butcher Block and returned it due to the steak knives rusted after only a month! This Set looks like a better choice.

this is a nice knife set. it's nothing fancy but it will go in the dishwasher and that's what i wanted. it recommends you hand wash them but i wanted one that would go in the dishwasher and it says they will so i'm going to put them in it to wash them.
