Real Techniques Dual-ended expert sponge

When used dry, the sponge ate up most of my foundation and was incredibly hard to blend with. I ended up looking cakey and had to just blend with my fingers instead. I wish I just never wasted my money on this sponge and got my usual Miracle Complexion Sponge instead.

What is this sponge. It's rock solid. My face hurt after I'd applied my make up from tapping so hard to blend foundation! Avoid.

This is the first time ever using this brand, I wish I would of got the orange sponge everyone seems to love, because this one is terrible it has fallen apart with pieces missing and I just got it this month!! Now I'm not sure I even want to spend money trying out the other one.

Not happy with this sponge I brought one for myself and one for my make up kit! And sadly it's awful, it's so hard it hurts my face to apply make up, it also soaks up all of the foundation so doesn't apply full coverage! It's a shame as I LOVE real techniques but this one is a real let down!
