I was disappointed that Rubbermaid has cheapened their quality to this level. The material was thin and flimsy - not the usual heavy-duty material I've come to expect from Rubbermaid. The lid would not snap tightly into place. In fact any slight bump caused the lid to fall on the floor.

I owned a wastebasket just like this, a green rubbermaid wastebasket. It lasted at lease 12 years. This one looks almost the same , except it has a lighter weight top, so you have to place it just right to work correctly. Hope this lasts just as long. it's definitely a good buy and looks great.
