I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions and it doesn't fit our California King mattress. It's a great platform bed. We screwed in the wood slats for added stability, otherwise they shift too much.

The bed looks great in our new bedroom! My husband said to tell you that it was very easy to put together and the instructions were great. And I love all the storage drawers. Still waiting for some bed linens but I wanted to tell everyone how great this bed looks.
