Re-doing my dining room but have had this table for almost 1 year. I can confirm, even with 4 cats, it does not scratch easily. Assembly for this sturdy table was easy. It accommodates wider chairs, yet it's the perfect size for my little dining room. Easy to clean. Great buy.
