We had purchased a set of ginsu knives about 30 years ago. Loved the steak knives, but like everything else, they do eventually wear out. Didn't need all the other knives, so it was nice to get just what we needed. The knives cut very well, they don't tear what I am trying to cut.

I had gerber knives previously but wanted something new...OMG..I was so impressed....they are very sturdy..and cut thru my prime rib like butter,,no tugging or tearing....I am planning on buying a few more sets to keep on hand for presents for family......trust me...they are a sure thing ...

Wasn't to sure if I made the right purchase when I bought these knives but they were like the only ones that were cerated all the way down the blade. It was the best purchase I could have made!! They are sharpe. They cut steak beautifully and with ease, and they are made well.
