Im a professional fishing guide in BC and I absolutely love the Penn Squall 40 and 50. Great value and very durable. I would recommend this reel for beginner big game fishing and also expert big game fish. Two thumbs up!!!

I bought this reel three years ago for tuna fishing and this reel has consistently handled everything that's been on it no problem smooth easy to use. Lever drag is awesome you're not gonna find a better real at this price point.
