Been using these reels for several years now catching striped bass. The Linecounter is very useful when specific distances and depths are important. A few feet can make the difference catching fish some days. Give the Squall Linecounter a chance and you will not be disappointed.

You cant beat this reel it's a beast I've taken it an several offshore trips caught some big fisf and haven't had any problems. The thing I like best is the corrosion resistance of the carbon fiber frame makes it easy to keep up on it

I bought my first Penn Squall reel about a year and a half ago. I now own six of them. I fish for stripers a couple of times a week. The Squall reels have brought in well over a hundred stripers at this point. They are smooth and powerful. I highly recommend the Squall.
