They don't necessarily get rid of the pimple but they aren't made to do that, But they do get rid of the redness and when i take the patches off you can tell they get some of the gunk out but also get the gunk out of the pores around it! There my favorite!

I bought this for my teenage son, it really helps with his acne, every time a pimple appears on his face he just put one star on it and let it work overnight. It works because he keeps asking me to buy them for him.
