I had abdominal surgery. There were several incision sites. The Boppy helped me to Guard the surgical sites. It helped me have something to brace myself when I got in and out of bed . It also helped me get in chairs and cars. I used these Boppy's when my children were younger.

Couldn't find a comfortable mastectomy postop pillow; the traditional kinds just didn't work. Decided to give the boppy a shot, even tho it's advertised for nursing. It has been the greatest thing. Let's you rest on your side or even (eventually) on your belly without discomfort. Love it!

this helped out sooo much when i had an emergency cesarean. i ordered one soon as i could when i got home from hospital. took a lot of pressure off my stomach area.

This pillow is a life saver. Even though I didn't end up nursing, I still used this pillow daily. It helped support your arm so it didn't get tired while holding my baby. My little one would sleep in my arms while I had the pillow under my arms. I am not buying one for my nieces baby shower.
