I use these all the time. I have never had an issue. I like how they are pretty cheap, and how they come in a variety of pack sizes. You can use these to clean stuff around the house too. Personally I use these to clean my keyboard

Q-tips are the original and the best! The cotton ends are the perfect amount without being too fluffy or thin to hurt your ears or face. I used to help with makeup.
