Parts of it are made of solid wood, the rails of the drawers are solid. It is a really well made dresser overall. You have to assemble it but the parts go together much better than any of the Ikea assemblies I've done.

Assembly took way longer than it should have and was overwhelming. Do not recommend to put it together by yourself as it took 2 adults to put it together in about 1 1/2- 2 hours. Dresser is a nice color and seems sturdy though.
