Look at the active ingredient, it's glyphosate, the same as Roundup and the same concentration. It systematically kills weeds to the root so if your weeds die in a day, it's because Roundup and Spectracide add diquat, a burning agent to their product. I always buy the 64 fl oz bottle that states on the front "Makes UP TO 32 GALLONS" in the circle on the front label. It works very well when I pour half the bottle in my 15 gallon sprayer. Note this is the same bottle that states it makes many fewer gallons.
