I bought that tool for One reason, just to get something that will last long time :-) What a disappointment unfortunately. I used that pice of punch "down" tool maybe few times. Spring fail. Love the punch down idea for the tool, but enginering behind is just shocking bad.

The tip pushed through the 'puncture resistant' pouch, but that does not matter since the spring mechanism failed in less than two weeks of use.

I bought this item 4 months ago and the punch mechanism has failed. My coworker's failed even sooner. So I knew mine was most likely going to fail soon as well. I love Klein products. This was very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought 2 of these now. I love the shape and size for confined cabinets and racks but the spring keeps breaking. This is with the impact setting on low. I don't use high because of cheap patch panels but that's a different story.
