This works really good on my small/medium terrier. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it, in fact he seems to like it. It picks up lots of hair off Gus (my dog). All I can say is I Love It!!!

We have used the Furminator about six weeks and are very pleased with this product. It has saved us time vacuuming and dusting Casper's hair, who is a German Shepard, who lives inside with us! I would recommend the product to anyone who has a furry friend that sheds a lot!
