Some assembly is required, but easily done. The instruction sheet was very limited so I was concerned I would use it improperly. The badge maker works awesome. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather then 5 is because my equipment did not include instructions. I found a YouTube video that showed me how to use the equipment. I've already completed 2 badge orders. I would definitely purchase this again.
