I bought this to install my water heater. I love shark bite connections but the interior EPDM has broken down after about two years and is all over the shower and laundry. I would not recommend this product. I would steer clear of EPDM for this application.

My 1/2" cold water supply line going to my water heater devoloped a pinhole leak. This flex pipe was the perfect easy fix ! ( 18" long with 1/2" sharkbite fittings on both ends)

I had a multiple elbow copper pipe coming down from a deck through conduit and this flexible connector made my life easy. the old copper had burst from the winter freeze.
