We bought this item for our granddaughter. These plans are just like insurance. You pay and may never need them, but if/when you do they are a lifesaver. We already did this for another granddaughter and it really paid off after her accident with the I-pad. Need I say more?

I almost never get a device for my children without buying the warranty. By saving the receipt I have never had trouble filing a claim. I think I have only purchased one dvd player outright in the last 7 years. The kids always find some way to break them in the car.

I purchased it for my last dual screen dvd player. The player broken in less then a yr. They sent me a check as soon as they received the product back. No questions asked. I purchased another dual screen dvd player a month ago and again I purchased the replacement plan.

So glad that get protected is available. My daughter had problems with her last portable dvdplayer and didn't have any replacement plans on it. I have purchased her a new on for Christmas and added the 2 year plan in case she has any problems with her new one which I'm sure seh won't.
