Works great for intended use. Took pre-split wood and further split it into kindling and other smaller pieces to fit into a small cooking stove. Larger logs (that need a hydraulic press or large ax) may not work as well, but works well for the smaller stuff. Just what I needed for the intended use.

This is an amazing device for making kindling. Works perfect and is fun to do. I bolted it to the inside of a 5 gal bucket and that works great to hold it steady while making kindling and the bucket makes a perfect container for the kindling.
