You don't have to worry about batteries running low, this lamp is the perfect desk companion. I do everything at my desk, but one of the things I needed this lamp was for my crocheting, it works perfect. It has 3 touch level settings, it is just perfect!!!!

Light works really well - love that you can pick the brightness - really like the 55" cord! Using on my desktop; my table has a shelf above the monitor and with the longer cord, it can be used on the shelf!

Gives enough light to see my keyboard while watching streaming TV shows on HuluPlus ( in the dark) so I don't need to use overhead lights. Love that in plugs into my PC's USB ports, as well.
