This went together pretty easily, and theres a handy piece of wood located below the tv mounting to mount a soundbar. I just drilled the bracket provided by Bose to the stand. Great tv unit.

I purchased this uncertain whether it would hold my 60" RCA LED TV. I checked the weight of my TV and it was under the recommended weight this stand would hold. So, if your TV is around 50lbs, you won't have a problem.

This stand looked flimsy in the picture but it is actually quite sturdy. The wood is heavy when put together. I read the instructions slowly and carefully to make sure I put it together correctly. Bought for my game room for a 42in plasma (heavy sucker). Very solid despite the heavy TV. I don't think I would trust my toddler around this though, so I recommend anchoring with a tether it to a wall to make it safer if you have young kids. An extra shelf also would have been nice, but overall ...
