This is an awesome speaker. It has great sound quality, bass, and volume; for such a compact form factor. The built in battery and small size, makes it perfect for moving through the home and outside. Plus the ability to plug in my phone (via the USB port) for charging, is an added bonus.

In the $200 or less category I have the X5 and the Bose Mini. This X55 is 30watts plugged and 20watts on battery where as the X5 is 20watts plugged and even less on battery. Do not let the size fool you. It may be on the small size but the bass and volume are quite explosive. The sound quality is very clear as well.
