I have used this a few times outside by the pool. The sound is decent for a small and inexpensive speaker. I haven't tested the waterproof portion of it yet, but the sound is fine. It's not super loud, but definitely comparable with other smaller type speakers.

This is actually my second jumbo speaker and I seriously love how loud the audio projects and also how portable it is. It's perfect for pool days, bbq's, or camp fires! Amoungst all of its features it's super durable and has fantastic sound quality. It's a affordable must buy!!!!
