My son has THICK and CURLY hair. We have not found a brush that can get to the root of his curls that tend to get matted up. This brush works perfect and slides out to add different attachments. He loves it!

Hood tool but use it with caution. It detangles, but it really pulls your hair and the ends of the bristles are so pointy %26 sharp it scrapes your scalp. If a bristle happens to bend that one will rip strands out. It is exactly like a Denman.
