The quality of the carve design and color contrast is impressive. Hickory is a hard and durable wood and a good choice for a hiking stick. The weight is good, but not too heavy and there's a lanyard at the top along with a well constructed rubber tip at the end.

A well-made stability aid for someone with neuropathy or balance issues when walking. Strong but somewhat light weight for a solid piece of wood. Perfect size for me at 6" 3" tall.
