I put the big steps on the outside of the pool … it was better for my balance that way, climbing in and out on the ladder wasn't hard for me just the platform at the top and needed a large steps outside and it worked out fine ! Very Sturdy %26 very happy with them !!

Perfect! We got the 38 inch because I wanted wider step. My husband poured mortor mix into the step where usually just use water to ensure it's keeps down like he did with our other steps! These are great, roomy & exactly what we needed after our wedding cake steps broke. Way better!!!
