Excellent for home canning. Carry handle makes it easy to work hot vegetables. I have had one passed down to me for years and years. Bought this one so both our girls could have their own when its passing time again.

Same type jelly kettle I have used for years, nothing has changed but the price, which has changed a great deal. I have always wondered why this type of kettle never has a lid, but I suppose some man designed it.
