I needed a lightweight economical solution for some work files at home. For the price, this unit is great. It is sturdy enough for me, attractive and suits my purposes. As it is lightweight it should not be meant for anything really heavy, but I would think that would be obvious.

Would be useful for long term storage but if you are looking for something that allows you to load it with files and access them an a regular basis, this is not for you. Once loaded with files the drawers are difficult to pull out. Many times I felt the drawer pulls might snap just opening...

Disappointed that the sides and top could so easily be taken apart - would be easy to break into and the lock wouldn't stop that.

This unit is light weight and easily moves around on bare floor and level loop carpet with no problem. Needed it to hold sheet music for our troupe and does the job nicely. The only problem was that they put the wrong lock in one of the drawers so key will not fit, but since we are not interested...
