Honestly I thought the bowls would be bigger. Like huge, deep, menudo bowls. Or pasta bowls. They're not. They're small and shallow. With that said, it's okay--forces you to eat smaller portions. I love this serving set. The colors are vibrant however I wish the smaller bowls were different varying sizes. But i knew they were the same size when I ordered the set.

Bought the whole 2 sets of dinnerware plus these bowls. The large bowl is excellent for family servings. I was pleasantly surprised by the size. Love the whole set.
