I have just made one cake in this pan, so far, but it cooked evenly and had a nice crust. I loved the shape. The cake did take longer to cook than the instructions said, but I'm sure that this is related to the pan. I am looking forward to using it again.

The pan is indeed a good buy. Very pretty. I was not happy with the packaging. It was sent in a bubble wrap bag,no box. Although it was in good shape when it arrived I think it should have been boxed.

This is a well designed cake pan. The waffling holds frosting or glaze well. I am certain it will also hold a ganache, although I have not yet tried using the cake with one. Nice heavy aluminum, and Walmart's price was ten dollars less than anywhere else I looked. It does not seem to be available...
