Tram 1499 CB Base Antenna, No Ground Plane, for All Applications

This is a nice antenna. Came quick from Wal-mart and packaged well. I set this up in my garage up at the peak and run it that way. SWR is 1.1:2 and gets out last night local over 10 miles. Clear and crisp. It's well built too which I would expect from a Tram product.

Meets my needs of compact antenna to mount in the attic. no neighbor complaints with this unit tucked away out of sight performance acceptable for the mounting location.

This antenna will be installed on top of the garage when help is available and no problems are expected. The vertical will be used for 10 Meters primarily. I did not know Tram made Vertical Antennas and will explore their product line.
