I was thrilled to see the can proclaim that it's lining was non-toxic. That is worth paying a bit more for. Beans were great. I would definitely buy again. Black beans and rice with tomatoes and spices are a staple in my house. And the canned beans are so much more convenient than cooking from dry.

I will not eat anything from a can that is not BPA free and I am trying to get more dried beans into my diet. I am delighted to find that Swanson carries this brand.

For the reviewer who didn't like the taste.....they are salt free If you add about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of Himalayan salt to the can before heating, they are great. I LIKE EDEN PRODUCTS AND ESPECIALLY THE NO SALT BEANS. PLUS THEY ARE ONE OF THE FEW MANUFACTURES THAT DO NOT USE BPA IN THEIR CAN LININGS. GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS. GOOD TASTE AND REASONABLE PRICE.
