The clutch didn't work, and trimmer head keeps spinning even when you let go of the gas. This is dangerous

After assembly line trimmer was easy to start and works great. The blower, while being easier to assemble than the line trimmer, would not start. Now what am I supposed to do I have gas in both of them. Do I take both of them back or do I only take one back?

I purchashed. I following instructions, assembled. The blower worked good. The weedeater after starting it, make a very weird sound. My husband said its the bearing. He stated he had never heard a weedeater sound like this. Wal-Mart did take it back.

This MTD yard machine Combo is awesome for the price! Easy Assembly and I like how both the weed eater and Leaf Blower take the same oil to gas ratio 40:1 . Completed first prime on both units and they fired right up.
