Perhaps the most graphic and disturbing volume of the series so far. We're asked to draw parallels between the savage instinct for survival possessed by both the zombies and our heroes. I still find myself tiresomely irritated by the quality of the illustration.

I blew through the first five volumes too quick, and the series took a great turn with this one. Very dark twist of events. The last couple volumes were a little soapy, so I'm glad to see some action here and get a new antagonist introduced. Good stuff.

great series, this paticular volume deals with some very dark elements. Considering this is a series about zombies and death, and the destruction of the world its impressive a book like that can still shock and awe.
