Perfect to carry as a snack. Most chocolate snacks melt in your pocket or pack -- these don't. I take them camping and keep one in my shirt picketvwgen I am fly fishing. No sticky, melting chocolate! (I also take their fig bars, too.) Good, chocolate flavor and perfect texture.

It's not that easy to find pastries made from whole wheat that aren't quite expensive. These brownies are no more expensive than any similar refined wheat product. Dates work great for sweetening and for keeping them moist. They stay moist for weeks in their packs. Chocolaty!

We are Vegan and this Brownie was excellent. My grandson loved them and if I am not watchful they will disappear to his bedroom and he will eat them all. They are an excellent snack in moderation.
