Even my granddaughter thought this tasted funny. Not a good value. Krusteaz needs to be available in club again. I'm a business plus member. Paying $5.47 in ship charges for the Krusteaz is ridiculous.

I bought multiple bags and only once was the mix good. The last 3-4 bags I bought tasted horrible! It either tasted like the flour was sitting on the shelves too long...musty...then there's the batch that has too much malt and tasted SUPER sweet. SO Inconsistent!

I have tried MANY things to get this mix tasting half as good as Krusteaz did when Sam's carried it - (more/less mixing, added buttermilk and regular milk to mix, high heat, low heat....) Mix is heavy and makes gummy pancakes. Tried water, milk and butter milk and nothing worked. Mixed lightly and heavily ended with same results. Added baking soda hoping to make pancakes rise more and got same ole gummy pancakes. Avoid this mix.
