Perfect rain gauge. Easy to mount and read. Holds several inches but still can measure 100ths. This is my second one through no fault of the product (I let the central tube freeze). Will buy again if necessary. I had the 1st one for over 10 years, maybe closer to 15.

This is my 3rd same rain gauge in the last 25 years. I find it to be very accurate and very durable. In the 100 degree temperatures which we experience in CA the plastic becomes etched over time making the inner cylinder difficult to read until it's removed. This was a replacement for the same rain gauge that I had used for just short of 15 years. The plastic had clouded from years of sun and exposure but it still was readable. The new one seems to be the same quality. Very relieved to see that it has not changed.
