This is the perfect 0 gravity chair for folks who are a tad ""broad in the beam."" The extra width makes all the difference in the world. I'm 230 pounds and I don't hit any cross members getting in it, sitting in it, or getting out of it. It's rated for 360 pounds and should last quite a while.
