If you're short on time, have bad memory, ADD, ADHD, or depression, this automatic feeder is for you. Highly recommend, the bowl is big but shallow enough that cat whiskers aren't bothered. for a puppy or overly enthusiastic dog, however, I might not consider this the best option.

works great! i bought it for my 20 pound puppy. the only downside i would say is that the buttons are underneath the lid so you have to open the lid to change any setting.
