The picture shows that you can see the logs through the screen but you cannot; it's not as ""airy, it's more dense. The feet for the screen aren't very sturdy--you have to move them into place. The screen is very bold and overpowers the fireplace but now that I'm used to it I like it.

The color is definitely not as pictured, and seems to vary a lot across the surface. But the size is perfect for my needs.

It doesn't stand straight (I think one of the legs is shorter than the other), and the finish is actually a yellow gold crackle, not the sophisticated color from the photos.

Love love love the design...but the color that is depicted in this image is NOT even close to the color I received. The picture shown is a true gold...I received a goldish/silverish color.
