This fan has a lot of power. It's a great deal. It does make a lot of noise on medium & high but it moves a lot of air. The stand can be removed if you want to put it in a window.

the wind velocity was more than espected. Run it on its lowest speed most of the time. The only negative would be that it is a little loud when using the high setting.

This lil machine really gives a force of nature. Every nite I put it in front of door and it pulls in the cool air . And I haven't had to use the highest knob yet.
