Have a fat cat, the plate does what it claims, slows his eating. He was eating so fast I don't think he could taste his food and wanted more.

Sturdy, calm color, cats have to work a bit to get all the kibble. Fun to watch their strategy. Dish does slide around but thats entertaining also.

So far this dish has truly slowed down my cat's eating. She was it the habit of eating the dry food so fast she would vomit immediately. This dish has changed her eating habit. Well worth the inexpensive cost.
